Amazon Files turns your BookRouter inventory into files that Amazon accepts directly, so you can list on any Amazon marketplace yourself: the US and Canada, and all of the international sites (UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, and more).
How it differs from managed Amazon routing
With managed routing, Bibliopolis submits and synchronizes your listings on the North American marketplace automatically. Amazon Files is the do-it-yourself alternative: BookRouter builds the file, and you upload it to Seller Central under your own account. That puts you in control of when and where you list, and it is the only way to list on the international Amazon sites, which managed routing does not cover.
What you need
- Your own Amazon Professional selling plan on each marketplace you want to list on.
- That marketplace's Listing Loader template, downloaded from its Seller Central (each site has its own).
No Amazon connection to BookRouter is required.
Where to find it
Open Settings » Data & Tools » Amazon Files. The page has four tools:
- Settings: currency and conversion rate, shipping group, handling time, and optional price protection bounds.
- Fill a Listing Loader template: the main tool. Upload your marketplace's template and BookRouter returns it filled with your inventory, ready to upload to Amazon.
- Assign ASINs: attach Amazon catalogue identifiers to items that have no ISBN.
- Raw listing and delete files: data files for feed tools and custom workflows.
Large inventories generate in the background; leave the page open and it updates when the file is ready. Generated files are also kept in the Export Data archive for 60 days.
