Your own checkout
Every Bibliopolis site comes with a secure checkout. Cards and PayPal through the payment processor you connect, plus coupons, gift cards, sales tax, and shipping.
In person, or billed
Take a payment in front of the customer, or send an invoice to a library that pays in ninety days. Both take the book out of stock everywhere and land in the same sales history.
Point of sale
Take payment wherever you are
The point of sale runs in a browser, so whatever you carried to the fair will run it. Key in a card through your payment processor, record a payment from your own card terminal, or record cash, then print or email the receipt.
The book comes out of stock the moment the sale is made. It comes off your website at once and off your marketplaces within minutes.
Billing
Invoices for the buyers who need one
Institutions, dealers, and regulars often cannot pay at the point of sale. Create an invoice on the customer record, send it with a Pay Now link, record partial payments, and see what is open and what is overdue without keeping a separate ledger in a spreadsheet.
An invoice posts to the same sales history as everything else, and the invoice list shows what has been paid and what is still owed.

Bring your own payment processor
Connect the processor you already use, or set one up with us, and the money goes straight to you. We never sit between you and your funds, and switching processor later does not mean rebuilding your checkout.

Security
Keeping payments safe
Payment handling is not a place to cut corners. Ours has handled real transactions, chargebacks, and fraud attempts for years.
Cards go straight to your processor
At checkout, card numbers are typed into your processor's own secure payment fields, so they go straight to Square, Stripe, Authorize.net, or Braintree rather than passing through a web server.
Screened before you ship
Your processor's fraud screening, and 3-D Secure on Square and Braintree, can stop a risky payment before you have posted the book.
Refunds and cancellations
Full and partial refunds, voids and cancellations are handled from the order itself. A refund on a website order is one action, not a session with your processor's dashboard.
