Each Amazon marketplace gets its own file, built from its own template. Here is the full workflow.
1. Download the template
In that marketplace's Seller Central, go to Catalogue (or Inventory) » Add Products via Upload and download the Listing Loader template for books. Every marketplace has its own template; do not reuse one site's template (or filled file) for another, since the marketplace identity is built into it.
2. Set your options
On the Amazon Files page, fill in the Settings panel to match the marketplace you are generating for:
- Currency and conversion rate: your prices are multiplied by the rate. Amazon's European prices include VAT, so build any VAT uplift into the rate.
- Shipping group name: must exactly match a shipping template that exists in that marketplace's Seller Central shipping settings.
- Handling time: days between order and shipment.
3. Fill the template
Upload the template under Fill a Listing Loader template and download the filled file. Tick the delete-file option if you also want a file that removes items no longer for sale.
4. Start with a small batch
The first time on a new marketplace, upload a pilot of 50 to 100 rows (copy the header rows plus a slice of data rows into a fresh template). A small batch surfaces account-level issues cheaply, such as a shipping group that does not exist there yet, or missing approval to list Collectible conditions.
5. Upload and read the processing report
Upload the file in Seller Central via Add Products via Upload. When processing finishes, download the processing report. Some rejections are normal; see Understanding your Amazon processing report for what the common ones mean and how to fix them.
6. The full file, then repeat per marketplace
Once the pilot looks right, upload the full file. For each additional marketplace, repeat from step 1 with that site's own template and the matching currency setting.
Keeping listings in sync
Amazon matches your rows by SKU, so re-uploading a fresh file updates your existing listings (prices, quantities, conditions). Generate and upload the delete file as well so items that sold or were removed come off Amazon.
