BookRouter connects to the US / North American Amazon marketplace (US, CA, and MX). Amazon selling through BookRouter is a paid add-on. To turn it on for your account, email support@bibliopolis.com.
1. Make sure you have an Amazon Professional selling plan
You need an Amazon Professional selling plan to connect BookRouter to your account. An Individual plan cannot be connected. You can sign up for or upgrade your plan in Amazon Seller Central.
2. Connect your Amazon account
In BookRouter, open Marketplaces under the Inventory heading and click Amazon. In the Amazon Connection panel, choose your Amazon Country (US, CA, or MX) and click Connect.
You will be sent to Amazon to sign in and authorize Bibliopolis to manage your listings (Amazon's "Login with Amazon" / Selling Partner API consent screen). Approve the request and you will return to BookRouter showing Connected.
There are no tokens to copy or paste. Amazon retired the older Merchant Token / MWS Auth Token method, so if an older guide tells you to enter those, it is out of date. If your screens do not match these steps or the connection fails, email support@bibliopolis.com and we will connect your account for you.
3. Configure your listing settings
On the same Amazon page, set your preferences, then click Save:
- List Eligible Items as Collectible? Always, Let BookRouter decide, or Never. Amazon requires approval to sell in some Collectible categories; if you are not approved, choose Never or Let BookRouter decide.
- Condition Default: the condition used when BookRouter cannot map a more specific one.
- Handling Time: overrides Amazon's default handling time for your listings.
- Custom Shipping Template (optional): check the box and enter the template name exactly as it appears in your Amazon Seller Central account.
- Pricing: set an optional price-range filter and re-pricing (by amount or percentage).
- Days to Wait: delay new items from uploading to Amazon for a set number of days.
- Listing Append (optional): text added to the end of every Amazon description.
4. Turn on routing
Set Routing Status to Active when you are ready for BookRouter to start sending books to Amazon, and Save. You can use Revise All at any time to re-send all of your active Amazon listings.
