Featured Items showcase a rotating selection of your stock on your website's homepage and featured page. You choose the items by search criteria, by specific IDs, or a mix of both.
Step one: Open the collection
Click Featured Items under the Website heading in the left menu. The BookRouter Default collection opens, with a Featured Items section under the Sections heading. Click the Edit icon on that section.
Step two: Set rotation and how many to show
On the Settings tab, two dropdowns control the counts:
- Featured widget: items to show — how many items appear in the homepage widget.
- Featured list: total items — the size of the pool that rotates on your featured page (and what "See All" shows).
Each day (per the Rotation frequency) a fresh subset is drawn from the pool for the homepage.
Step three: Choose the items
By search criteria (the default): with Use search criteria? on, set any of Lists (categories and catalogs), Author, Keywords, and a price range, and optionally Require Photo. For keywords, AND narrows to items matching all terms; OR matches any.
By ID: switch to the Add Items by ID tab to feature specific items by their SKU. To show only hand-picked items, turn Use search criteria? off. Click Save when done.
