Google Pay, Apple Pay and Venmo at Checkout
Fewer typed fields, which is the single biggest thing that saves a sale on a phone.
Shoppers can now pay with Google Pay, Apple Pay or Venmo at checkout if you take card payments through Square or Braintree. Venmo runs through Braintree, in the United States. There is nothing to install: switch on the ones you want under Connections, and each appears for the shoppers whose device supports it.
The same buttons appear on the cart page as express checkout. A shopper who taps one confirms with a fingerprint or a face, and the name and shipping address come across from the wallet, so they arrive at the final review step with the form already filled in.
Apple Pay requires your domain to be verified with the payment provider, which we handle from the Connections page.
