- BookHound 8 single user version for mac (runtime version) is end of life software. BookHound 8 is only compatible with MacOS Sonoma, Sequoia, Tahoe, or Golden Gate all of which support Rosetta, a program that allows intel based software to run on Apple Silicon chips. Apple has announced that the next release of their OS will not support Rosetta.
- BookHound 7ce for Windows & Mac is end-of-life software. If you use BookHound 7ce for Mac, note that all updates are incompatible with BookHound 7ce data files. We recommend that you don't upgrade macOS until you've moved to another database solution. Furthermore, we aren't able to migrate BookHound 7ce users to BookHound 8 for Windows or Mac.
Standard specs of a BookHound export file
- BookHound 8 standard export files are tab delimted with a .txt extenstion.
- The first record in all upload files sent from BookRouter™ is a header record
- Exported files are saved in the my_images folder within the BookHound 8 folder.
- Files are named with a-books-XXXXX
