Japanese crepe paper book, color wood block illustrations throughout, unpaginated, 6 x 4 1/4 inches, color pictorial crepe paper wrappers (softbound) with thread ties. 1/2 inch tear at upper left tie of front cover, two small soft impressions to cover and first few pages, two of the sheets (folded at the fore-edge in Japanese style) have been cut along the fore-edge, one poorly cut resulting in a vertical tear to the left edge of the text; good, clean condition. Beautiful Japanese woodcuts illustrate this charming tale.  more information
