MEDIUM COOL.

Wexler, Haskell:

[Np: The Author, nd. but ca. 1969]., [1],104 leaves. Quarto. Mimeographed typescript, printed on rectos only, punchbound in printed wrapper with acetate overlay and vinyl lower wrapper. Near fine. An unspecified draft of this original screenplay for the ground-breaking and highly influential film set in the turmoil of the 1968 Democratic Convention, written, directed and filmed by Wexler, and starring Robert Foster, Verna Bloom, Peter Boyle, et al. Although the draft is not identified, the script is vintage, and bears notice of its WGA registration. Given the independent nature of the production, it is likely that the number of scripts produced was relatively small. MEDIUM COOL was added to the National Film Registry in 2003.
