Williams, Harold
Boston: De Wolfe, Fiske and Co, [1890?]. 292p., inscribed by the pseudonymous author and signed in parentheses with his real name, inscribee's bookplate (and another, of a family member) on endsheets. Plainly a treasured book; this copy was rebound in old half calf and marbled boards probably not long after original publication. The leather is now deteriorated, joints are cracked and held on only by cords, spine is worn and the label is missing. Readable as is, but for rebinding. Reprint of the 1883 edition. Novel about miscegenation.  more information
