She survives today and is still as beautiful as the day she was launched. In peacetime, RMS Queen Mary was the grandest ship afloat-she was THE ship to be seen in and was one of the most luxurious. Built in Scotland and fitted out with the best of British materials, she was, and still is, a masterpiece of British craftsmanship.
