The olive green cloth boards have bevelled edges and are elaborately decorated in gilt. Gilt still quite bright, with no blemishes to the cover. The gilt scene and title to the spine also still bright. A bookplate was removed from inside the front cover leaving an abrasion to the light mauve endpaper. Not ex-institutional, no other markings in the book. 90 black & white illustrations. Bibliography. 9" high X 7" wide, 221 pages. Very Good.
