Ulm [Augsburg?]: [Hans Schultes,the younger?] for Joseph Furttenbach, 1663. Furttenbach (1591-1667), born in Ulm, studied military architecture and engineering in Italy. Returning to Ulm, he had various high positions in the government especially in military fortifications of the city during the 30 Years War. He was a mathematician, chemist, businessman, builder of ships, bridges, and organs.
