The image (rendered in dark felt-tip) is particularly striking --a vaqueros, machete prominently at his side, taking a breather and jauntily looking straight ahead, a cigarette cupped in his right hand. The drawing is spotless as well. And the book itself has held up nicely too. Solid and VG+ in its duotone cloth, with bright gilt-lettering and design at the spine. Thick octavo, 427 pgs. plus index. Also inlcludes a VG example (with light rubbing at the front panel) of publisher's pictorial slipcase, which is unique to this limited edition.
